There are four departments in this school, Department of Chinese Dance, Department of Musical, Department of Modern Dance, and Department of Ballroom Dance. This school has a total of 43 dance practice rooms, including the new Dance Building with 3 modern dance rehearsal halls and 8 rehearsal rooms. The advanced facilities provide spacious, comfortable condition for students to study.

　　Our students have given performances in all the major events in Beijing. The volunteers from the Dance School participated in 17 venues show during the Beijing Olympics. In the Opening Ceremony of the Paralympics, there are 150 volunteers participated in the show matrix "soaring" on the Opening Ceremony of Paralympics. Our students also gave performance in varied occasions, such as “the Party of National Day 60th Anniversary " Beijing TV, " Flowery Time Singing & Dance Competition" Beijing TV, the Seventh China Flower Expo, the Classic Arts Lecture "Ice and Fire - Spain 'Flamenco' Dance Tour" held in the National Grand Theatre, International Exchange Dance Performance, the Opening Ceremony of the Eleventh "Challenge Cup" Extracurricular Technology & Science Works Competition of National Colleges, the closing ceremony of the Seventh Yangliuqing Folk Culture and Tourism Festival, the Twelfth International Peach Blossom Festival Pinggu, Beijing etc.

　　The International Dance School has introduced “the Selected Party of Era China”, received a strong response of dance specialists and general audiences. The first original Hip-hop dance, "Giving the Sunshine Back to Youth", choreographed by our graduate Zhu Shaojun within two years, was given strong acclaims in China, and contributed to the development of Chinese hip-hop.

　　In the past decade, the school has produced groups of outstanding dancers and constantly conducted international master classes, made indelible contributions to the spreading of Chinese dance cultures.
