The courses offered in this department could be divided into five professional directions: graphic design, environmental design, cartoon production, animation production, and costume design. The Academy has been founded more than 10 years. Since the establishment, we have cultivated more than 2600 design talents for the country.

Distinguished honorary president of the academy, Han Meilin, is the CPPCC member, trustee of the Chinese Artists Association, the famous painter, decorative artist. Over the years, In the company of the spirit:” teaching and educating, people-centered “, all stuffs actively explored the teaching reform, make our students more coincidently to the social requirement. Because of the significant results of the education reform, the employment rate in the last few years was up to more than 95%. Currently some of our juniors have been hired by Design Institute, Very optimistic about the employment situation! In teaching, we are actively combined with social practice. We had organized students to participate in 2008 Olympic Games and the 2009 60th anniversary of the cultural wall graffiti activities, several students received awards of Beijing, who was named "Outstanding Designer" and "Advanced Workers".
