Ms. Anne from BU visited CMA on March 22, 2010. Vice-president Li Ping ardently received her and friendly discussed mutual cooperation. Li Ping said that he was planning to visit BU for further negotiation of the cooperation in the near future.
It is learned that BU made many visits to CMA. The Media School at BU, which ranks No. 1 in British media education, took two years to prepare for the cooperation with CMA regarding mutual recognition of academic diploma and degree in media major, teacher exchange and library resource sharing. Meanwhile, BU sent relevant experts to test whether the undergraduate programs and curriculums of BU’s Media School and CMA’s Music & Media School are compatible and well linked and hold a 4-day teaching and training event, pushing mutual cooperation to substantive implementation. They were amazed at the teaching level of CMA’s Music & Media School, and considered that it is higher than its British counterpart. As a result, there is no any problem with compatibility of related programs and curriculums. A short time ago, Chancellor of BU visited CMA’s Panshan Campus in the company of President of CMA Li Gang, and gave high praise of its education orientation and scope. Both parties reached a consensus on jointly offering the sports management and tourism management programs.
