Princess Wen Cheng successfully premiered at the National Grand Theatre
 


 

  In the afternoon of October 10, 2012, the large-scale epic musical theatre – Princess Wen Cheng was perfectly premiered at the National Grand Theatre by students and professional performers from Beijing Contemporary Music Academy (CMA), Art & Culture College of Tianjin University of Sports (ACCTUS), CMA’s Art Troupe as well as Tibetan Song & Dance Troupe after three-month intensive rehearsal of over 300 performers and supporting staff.

  In the musical, famous singers Tan Jing and Wang Li played the role of Princess Wen Cheng and President of CMA Li Gang played the role of Emperor Tai Zong. The truehearted, vivid and splendid performance was unanimously praised by audiences and media. Some of legend stars including reputed singers and actors like Li Shuangjiang and Zhu Shimao turned up the thumbs for it and gave generous acclamation of the performance via Weibo (Chinese version of Twitter) and other media.
