In the afternoon of March 27 2012, Beijing Municipal Standing Committee member, Head of Publicity Department of Beijing Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China, and Vice-mayor of Beijing, Lu Wei, along with other 9 officials, visited CMA in the company of Wang Yunfeng, Secretary of Beijing Tongzhou District Committee of the Communist Party of China, and Yue Peng, Governor of Tongzhou District of Beijing Municipality. They were warmly welcomed by President of CMA Li Gang, and other top management staff.

　　Lu Wei visited the teaching facilities including the recording studio, the high-end Apple computer room and the cutting-edge audio/video studio. They also looked around students’ study in their film/TV scoring class and watched the large-scale dance – The Deep Night, which highlights Beijing’s local culture as an ancient capital, and classical scenes of musical – Mama Mia, as well as video clips of the collection of works by CMA graduates. He highly appraised CMA’s far-sighted education ideas, brand name building and fruitful achievements in terms of cultural and creative industry, he mentioned great concern on the progress of cultural and creative projects like CMA Jiukeshu Digital Music Industry Cluster and expressed his eager expectation for the role that CMA plays in the development of cultural and creative industries in Tongzhou District and Beijing as a whole.
